The Whole
Routine
Performance
London Performance Studios is pleased to present The Whole Routine, a new musical performance about control and longing by Edward Thomasson, created in collaboration with songwriter Robbie Allen and composer Charlotte Harding, and performers Adrian Quinton, Callum Murphy, Clara Andersson, Penny Granycombe, Simon Tipping, and Yasmine Dove, who join Edward on stage at London Performance Studios.
Developed over three years through weekend workshops and public presentations, this ambitious new work uses song and dance sequences to explore how patterns of behaviour develop to manage difficult social feelings. As harmonies falter, gestures fall flat, and routines slip out of time, The Whole Routine describes attempts at breaking the numb repetitions of conventional interaction and the sometimes-alarming awkwardness of trying to feel things differently.
