Is This My Bio? is a series of four short films that follows a character speaking to camera as he roams around Marseille. In this first episode, a glance of recognition opens into an enigmatic exchange with the viewer that veers between obtuse and confessional, drawing on the language and address of motivational messaging in social media and pop culture. Through the self-conscious series title, the viewer is invited to question the veracity and reliability of this narrator – asking who or what is this bio.
