London Performance Studios is a queer container for the research, generation, and promotion of artistic voices that meet in the space between the white cube of the gallery and the black box of the theatre. LPS seeks to queer artistic process, operating within radically transparent and intersectional structures. We champion the politics of making a scene, whether on stage or out in the world.

Access

London Performance Studios is located in the Penarth Centre, an industrial building in South Bermondsey. 

The Penarth Centre does not currently have an operational lift, but we are fundraising to repair this. Many of our performances are held in Studio 1, which does not have step-free access. Many of our performances, exhibitions and other events also take place in Studio 3, which is at street-level with step-free access.
All our toilets are gender-neutral. We have an accessible toilet located downstairs.

For studio hires, please give us an email or call to discuss any of your access needs which we will do our best to accommodate.

Our access requirements (including content warnings, seating plans, lighting and sound) vary for each performance or event, so please get in touch for more information. Large font versions of programmes and press releases are available upon request.

→ Tickets
We offer concessionary rates for accessible tickets, which includes a free ticket for a companion. Please send us an email or call if you would like to book these tickets.

→ Travel
We are located in South Bermondsey, local to several bus stops and train stations including Queens Road Peckham and South Bermondsey. We are able to send out detailed travel specs with mileage to these transport links upon request.
